It gets quite hot and itchy - one pharmacist in Greece said i was allergic to the sun but have no problem with the sun any other time of year apart from when i am using lotion.?
Iv used lots of really good brands of lotion, Lancaster, Nivia, Pizz Buen, Estee Lauder

i have the same thing, im ok sunbathing in england but the sun anywhere else i get what i call toad skin (that what the rash reminds me off).
i think its because the sun is stronger in other parts of the world.
possible causes are
prickly heat
sun photosentsive skin.
both can be "cured" by meds by dermatologist.

This is an allergic reaction. Either from the outside ( soaps, detergents, cold) or the inside ( foods, infections). Lotion will not help. The rash is red, itchy , and sometimes feels like it is on fire.
You can do a little detective work. Rub some soap directly on your skin. If that is it, it will have a rash in hours. Try that with anything that you are using in places the rash appears.
You can eat only apples, bananas, rice, broccoli to see if the rash goes away. Then introduce the allergy-prone foods that are listed at www.medlineplus.com and www.webmd.com.
If this only happens at one location and at one time, you will have an easier time finding it. After 2 years of itching, i found i was allergic to wheat. I love bread, pancakes, pasta..Health Question & Answer

I also suffer from the same thing and I also noticed that it is only on some times of the year, i have spoken to various people and i came with the conclusion that maybe there something in the atmosphere in those time of the year that causes it. when this happens to me i fill my shower with warm water put sea salt on it and it goes away...Health Question & Answer
I had the same issue. My doctor told me it was a light case of eczema, so if you can just got to your doctor and get some prescription lotion for eczema and it'll clean right up. Mine did! Good Luck!Health Question & Answer
