Question: What I should I do with high tem and swollen glands.?
I am off work today. It came on around tea time last night, I was getting really hot, but felt cold, and fluey. My throat was really sore and had a constant headache. I hardly slept last night. This morning I have dosed myself up on ibuprofen and some hot vimto. My glands are swollen and I have been sleeping this morning. Should I just keep doing what Im doing now, resting, staying warm, drinking hot fluid, and ibruprofen or should I go to the docs.? I feel a bit better now after Ive had a sleep. Definitely go see the doctor as it doesn't sound like a normal cold/flu as usually dint get swollen glands with average cold/flu (although Im not doctor just know from personal experience. Normally all the things you said you were doing to get better are great eg resting staying warm. When you are sick a sleep always does you world of good but to be on the safe side I will definitely get your glands look at. Hope you get better soon Take it easy.Health Question & Answer
