If people were really passionate about stopping cancer they would start with the promotion of preventing cancer. They would be giving speeches and running ads to urge people to stay away from furniture and pillows that have been sprayed in fire retardant, stop lawns from being sprayed with deadly chemicals, stop consuming fruits and vegetables that have been sprayed over and over again with pesticides, inform people of the dangers of genetically modified foods, inform people the cleaning products around their home could be poisoning them every time they spray to clean things, and maybe just maybe those vaccines are causing a lot more than autism.?
Maybe because sick people are great for the corporations that run our nation and informed public would take money away from the system of the sick.

The problem with preventing cancer is that nearly every industry would be affected because so many products and manufacturing practices are soooo unhealthy. They've spent trillions in advertisements telling us how safe all their products are - and they've lied so long that the masses believe them.
As for finding a cure for cancer, I dare say that big pharma does not want a cure. They want to make us 'chronic and manageable' so that we can live a long time as long as we're taking their drugs.
The cancer industry in America is a huge business. Should a cure be made readily available to the public, the industry would implode and cause a huge financial crisis for the millions employed in cancer care.
There are several known cures for cancer - all simple and natural. However, natural stuff can't be approved as a drug or patented, so no one in interested in testing them. No money to be made. So those who seek out alternative therapies from reliable sources are the ones who learn how to restore their health.
Back to my 'cure' statement - back in the 1930s, Otto Warburg received the Nobel prize in medicine for his discovery - and proof - that cancer cannot grow in an aerobic environment. That means that oxygen kills cancer. You'd think that someone could take his discoveries and, in 70 years, figure out how to use ozone, h2o2, or other oxygen therapies to kill cancer. Oh wait! They do that in other countries! That's why our society's richest people seek certain medical treatments in other countries - because they can get cured!!!
Speaking of cures again - I personally know 3 people who have been cured of cancer, 1 of diabetes, 1 of lupus, and one of debilitating heart disease. I have a degenerative joint disease that is actually improving though the medical community tells me it can't be happening. Whatever.

Get real! There is millions being spent on good research on cancer cause and prevention. The "causes" you list are not causes of cancer. The number one cancer deaths is Lung cancer, e.g. people killing themselves by smoking. 2nd and 3rd deaths by cancer is prostate and Breast of which they have not yet found the cause the drives normal cells to cancer cells.
other cancers... Melanoma and other skins cancers but the tanning booths and beaches are full of sunbathers.

Because people care more about making a dollar than the life they harm. Some professionals are just so lazy, that they just go to work to bring home a paycheck, not to do a good job. Sad, but true. I got news for you, its just not cancer that they have screwed people on. My children use to have autism, and they still tell people there is nothing you can do about it. Cancer occurs all over the globe, in every race, in all age groups, both sexes, all countries . . even those not industrialized. Cancer does not just occur in humans it also occurs in all forms and variations of life. The disease is far more complicated than just being the result of anything that humans created.
Your 'theory' that this is all the result of greedy corporations . . well . . they are greedy and they probably don't have any conscience . . but your theory does not explain why different types of cancer can be age specific or why certain types of cancer occur more frequently in males and less in females. Nor does it explain why out of all the people exposed to these 'carcinogens' . . that not all of them get cancer, only a few. It does not explain why in our population that some people can smoke all their lives and never get lung cancer . . while another person who has never smoked at all . . can get a fatal lung cancer. It does not explain why one child in a family will get a childhood cancer . . while none of the siblings will. There are inconsistencies in every single theory about what 'causes' cancer . . some people have speculated that it is the result of mutations that occur when a person ages . . and yet that does not explain the nineteen month old infant with Neuroblastoma. Children, teens, and young adults all get cancer too . . and with almost all these cancers . .the cause remains unknown as none of them can be linked to anything within the environment, diet, or genetics.
