Can hair bleach cause allergic reaction?!

Question: Can hair bleach cause allergic reaction.?
I've heard and seen the horrors of hair dye allergies (extremely swollen faces, deformed eye areas), being caused by PPD. Does hair bleach have PPD in it, like other dyes do (colors like black, brown, etc.)

I'm asking because I bleached my hair today, which is the fourth time I bleached my hair in the course of two weeks, and after I washed it out, my scalp felt tight. I didn't know if it was because I had bleached my hair so much that my scalp was sensitive, dry, and possibly burnt, or if i might have an allergy.

I know I would have showed signs of it during my three other times, but I used a different brand each time.Health Question & Answer

Bleach does this to your scalp, it dries it out and can burn if you are using a high peroxide. Use barrier cream i.e vaseline around your hairline and ears next time and rinse with cool waterHealth Question & Answer

The package warns that allergies can occur even if you have never had a reaction before to the chemicals. But more than likely you have just burned your scalp from over exposure. Not a real "burn", but dried out and tender. A good conditioner should make it feel better.Health Question & Answer

quit bleaching -see your stylist and dermatologist for professional help.Health Question & Answer
