Health Question & Answer

when they go numb, do they change color.? like blue or completely white.? and after they go... un-numb are they red and painful.? this is a syndrome or phenomenon called reynaud's. it's relatively common and pretty harmless. if you have severe reynaud's, though, it does put you at increased risk for gangrene and skin related infections due to slowed healing. basically, with reynaud's the blood vessels in your extremities constrict (or close), cutting off circulation to your digits. this is what causes the colors. when the blood returns, they appear bright red and may be quite painful. stress or cold can bring this on. also, reynaud's is often linked to other diseases, like lupus. having reynaud's doesn't mean you have diabetes or another autoimmune disease, though, it just means that people with those other diseases often have reynaud's, if that makes sense. it doesn't cause fatigue, though, that i'm aware of :) Health Question & Answer

go to your doctors and have them do a blood test- this will be able to determine anemia- It could well be though, or a sign of a poor diet. Health Question & Answer
