Not unless more recent ancestors had this genetic predisposition. Cystic Fibrosis, Sickle Cell Anemia, Huntington's chorea, would all be examples of inheritable genetic diseases. I'm assuming a parent or grandparent had a disease you're worried about.Health Question & Answer
