Sinus infection that won't go away?!
Question: Sinus infection that won't go away.?
Has anyone had a sinus infection that won't go away.? I started feeling sick about 3 to 4 weeks ago. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and she diagnosed me with a sinus infection, bronchitis and two ear infections. She prescribed me with Ceclor and told me to go ahead and take Sudafed every 4 hours. After 10 days I was still sick, and my doctor prescribed me Doxycycline. The Doxycycline has made me sick to my stomach for a couple of days. So I stopped taking it and am going to call the doctor Monday morning. Has anyone else had this happen.? If I stop taking the Sudafed my fever comes back and I start coughing.Health Question & Answer

Well, you are REALLY sick!!!!!
This could take a while to get rid of -- maybe it
started as allergies, and just snowballed. My
son used to get bronchitis EVERY November
that way...You may have to try several antibiotics
to get the right one...Use a humidifier wherever you
sleep 24/7...My son has been sick w/bronchitus b4
for 3 weeks, so if you waited to go to the doc, and
the meds aren't working, I can see this carrying on
for a while.
Remember that w/respiratory infections, it really does
take rest/rest/rest to get well...You can't just keep going
and doing a normal schedule (even on the meds) and
expect it to be gone...Health Question & Answer
