also am not a fan of prescription medications, when there are natural alternatives available. My father was on Lipitor and had jaundice so that frightened me. I began searching for products some time ago and came across CholesterClear online. You don't need a prescription for it and you don't even need to change your eating habits. It contains plant sterols and its helped lower my cholesterol 121 points in the past 3 months. If you want my opinion this is the best, but you can look at the website and see for yourself.Health Question & Answer
High cholesterol runs in my family, so to a point, you cannot control what your cholesterol levels are. However diet is important of course to keep them from getting too high; and if you think you have clogged arteries and want to keep them clear it might help to take something more. I try to eat a high-fiber diet and reduce the fatty foods but I also take a plant sterol supplement (CholesterClear) just to be safe. Maybe this review will help you too. Health Question & Answer

Of course diet and exercise are very important for staying fit & healty but cholesterol cannot always be reduced simplly from making lifetyle changes.
