Have there ever been studies done to see if being stung by a scorpion, can lead to fibromyalgia in the future?!

Question: Have there ever been studies done to see if being stung by a scorpion, can lead to fibromyalgia in the future.?
I was stung by a scorpion last year and now this year have developed fibromyalgia and I was wondering if anyone has ever done a study to see if scorpion stings, bee stings or snake bites lead to fibromayalgia, because when the scorpion stung me it caused the same type of all over pain that the fibromyalgia feels like.Health Question & Answer

There are 4 "Routes" to Fibromyalgia.

There are 4 "Versions" of Fibromyalgia.
Overly Acidic, Overly Alkali, Thyroid/Temperature, and Physical Damage to Liver

Your scorpion sting may have been traumatic enough to your body to cause FMS.

Fortunately, you can have a Thyroid test done by your family doc.

If Thyroid is ok, then you can do the other test yourself. Cheaply, quickly and easily. It's to test Saliva pH.

fibromyalgia is still being studied and so many things are not known about it, which is disheartening for you and me. I have read somewhere that exposure to pesticides and other chemicals can precede fibromyalgia. So a scorpion sting just might be what triggered your illness. I was exposed to chemicals many years ago when firefighters were brought in to the hospital where I worked, and they had been exposed to an unnamed chemical. In those days we didn't use masks and gloves a lot, I remember we thought we were safe because the firemen had been thoroughly showered with water. Bless you and I hope you have a good doctor to help you cope.Health Question & Answer
