I have dealt with gas pressure/pain in stomach for over 10 yrs. I have IBS, am lactose intolerant and am sensitive to many foods. Yet, just the last two months I have been dealing with gas pressure/pain in stomach that painfully spreads to chest and neck. I don't know what is causing this. I have been taking simethicone to relieve it, but since it has been spreading it's hard to relieve. I have been burping more and half to hit my chest to help the gas pressure relieve but it doesn't always work. What should I do.? My friend said that it sounds like gall bladder problems, but I don't know.Health Question & Answer

I have had IBS since 1984. I have all kinds of bouts. To me it sounds like you are stressed out and need to get on some kind of healthy eating plan with foods you can tolerate. You need to reduce your stress and take a few walks. Take timeout for yourself. I had to change jobs a couple of times before my IBS really got better. Everyone of us is different. You have to see what works for you.When was the last time you had your IBS checkup.? You should have one at least once a year but if it's bad 2 times a year.Health Question & Answer

That's exactly what is sounds like. Gall Bladder problems. There are some great websites for it too. Like www.gallbladderattack.com. I even found one for a natural flush if you're into alternative. IBS is REALLY often given as a misdiagnosis. I was told I have that for about 5 years before being bloated 24/7 was just becoming rediculous. Have you been tested for celiac's or candida.? Both of those go overlooked alot and are often mistaken for IBS. They both cause bloating and pain. Anyway. I definitely think you should get your gall bladder checked.
