If it is truly acne, there are a couple of options. For a chemical fix, you will need to see a dermatologist in order to get a prescription. He will likely give you either a form of acid that will dry your skin out and prevent bacterial infection and clogged pores, or if severe, can give a retinoid. An alternative is called a xanthone which is found in high concentrations in Mangosteen fruit extract. It has been shown to kill the bacteria that most commonly cause acne.
