Question: Are there any doctors in the house if yes here's the question.whats the difference between fits and epilepsy.?
Answers:
i am not a doctor but my understanding is that fits can occur for a number of reasons such as extremely high temperatures, allergy to drugs/food, brain damage etc and whilst usually called convulsions they are also known as fits. whereas epilepsy is a disease which causes fits.

convulsions and fits, are to my mind, the same.

i hope you get some real medical answers and will be watching. i found this question interesting and will mark it as such.

all fits/convulsions should be investigated if only to rule out the possibility of epilepsy.Health Question & Answer
