Question: Why does your acne get worse at first when using prescription creams.?
Okay so dermatologist prescribed me Tazorac Cream 0.1% for my acne and he says that my acne will get worse within the first 4 weeks of use but that after that it should start clearing up. Why does it get worse at first.? Plus, I am currently on birth control (Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo). Will that stop the acne from getting worse.?Health Question & Answer

Lots of people say BC pills clear up skin. I have never understood the "it has to get worse b4 it clears up BS" It makes no sense to me. If it is supposed to clear it up it should clear it up. Good LuckHealth Question & Answer
