every medicine effects every person differently, but this is especially important for diabetics or anyone on another medication. You're best bet is to call your pharmacist, tell them what medications your husband is already taking and ask for a suggestion for a over the counter cold med that is least likely to have a bad reaction.Health Question & Answer

If you are in the USA, the Walgreens I go to has a very good section of meds and supplies for diabetics. I have used the Diabetic Tussin for colds. There are different varieties for different symptoms, congestion, cough, night-time,etc.
Since diabetes is an epidemic of sorts, I would imagine the big pharmacy stores would be carrying diabetic medicines soon if not already.
I also ask the pharmacist about over the counter meds because they should know.Health Question & Answer
