Question: Should I take my child to the doctor for an ADHD screening if I am trusting God to fix this situation.?
Since headstart, my child has been recommended for AD-HD. I am a strong believer in God and am trusting Him to fix this situation. I am not claiming this disorder itself although I do except she has hyperactivity issues. She is now in the first grade and it is showing more and more. I have decided to research and change her diet. She has shown some change. It is really hard, but I have known God to fix worse problems than this. My greatest fear is that if this is not fixed as early as possible, then it will only get worse and hinder her in her future grades.

I am a strong believer in God as well, but I think we are responsible to take action as well as listen to answers in our prayers he gives us.
Take your daughter to a specialist and pray God will give this specialist the wisdom to find a solution which will help your daughter. I don't think God can help us if we sit back and do nothing - we have to act. Good luck!

To be honest i know you belive God will heal your little boy from ADHD, but in reality you need to take her to the doctors for diagnose. It may not be that it may be something else completly. Im all for worship and believing in God but come on get wit the times if He was going to cure it why did He invent it in the first place.? Think about it. True that dude. Go ahead and get her examined, it wont hurt anything. The doc will just recommend some easy meds to help if its the case. If your not cool with taking medication, the doc will just give you some tips to deal with it. changing up the diet will help too, your right. I have ADD so i can relate kind of, almost the same. Praying never hurts a thing though :) hope that helps!

As a very sure believer in God and a health care worker, I can attest to the fact that I believe that it's not disbelieving in God to trust health care. I'm a CNA, a medical filer and shortly entering nursing school (I'm soon to graduate high school), and those who I work with...many of us believe in God.
