Go back to the DR asap.. she may need stronger meds... its could possibly turn into a kidney infection.Health Question & Answer

Sometimes the antibiotic she's put on doesn't work. She should have noticed an improvement long before the ten days was over, so it's time to go back to the doctor to try something else. Different people's bodies respond to things differently, obviously the one they used for her wasn't effective or strong enough.Health Question & Answer

take her back to the doctor and tell them this but besides antibiotics has she increased her fluid intake.? drinking cranberry juice.? is she wiping herself properly (many UTIs reveal e.coli from wiping back to front).?

Take this serious because some UTIs go untreated and they turn to kidney or worse infection.

Is this her first one.? I do not know her age but if she is very young and/or this is not the first one she may have some sort of malformation in the internal urinary organs.Health Question & Answer

She is not drinking enough water & try flushing it out with cranberry juice. also you might want to try Cipro, { I'm not sure if this is how you spell it} it's and antibiotic. Combine both for a few days, if this doesn't work. See another doctor a urologist.? They usually know their stuff. I'm no doctor but I use this for my UTI.Health Question & Answer

I realise this answer won't fix the UTI but get her to drink Cranberry juice. It helps flush the system and correct the natural balance within the bladder. It's good to have a glass every morning, particulary as she gets monthlies and becomes sexually more curious.Health Question & Answer
