Viruses are very different from bacteria.
If a virus is dry, it is dead.
A very few forms of bacteria can form spores (like a cocoon) and live indefinitely. It is extremely doubtful that you picked up any of these.
Just wash your hair and quit worrying about it.Health Question & Answer

You have a lot of research and learning to do. Diseases like those have to come into contact with an open wound, so figure, for HIV you would need bodily fluid to mix with yours, into an open sore or cut. IF nothing went into your mouth, then dont worry about it. Health Question & Answer
you are fine!!! viruses do not live very long as the poster before me said if a virus is dry it is dead you have nothing to worry about! nothing can survive for more then several days without a host no virus or bacteria Health Question & Answer
Relax. Once exposed to air, HIV only lives for a few minutes. Hep C can live outside the body for up to 4 days.Health Question & Answer
