On occasions I hear a shunting noise coming from my diaphragm it then fades away, I did go the doctors some time ago, but he said there was nothing wrong with my heart, it happens when I lean over sometimes and also when I turn over in bed, I have no pain, it is puzzling me as to why it happens.Health Question & Answer

Actually, I think I know exactly what you mean - I experience this myself, and there is nothing wrong with my health.
I've come to think that it's most likely the effect of the heart muscle pumping and affecting neighbouring structures that sometimes cause the noice - most likely it is the esophagus being moved with the heart beat, resulting in air pressure changes within, hence the occasional noise that we can hear.Health Question & Answer
