Could it be Low Blood Sugar?!
Question: Could it be Low Blood Sugar.?
I'm currently taking a Beta-Blocker for Tachycardia (its been almost a year now)
so anyways lately i've been feeling dizzy all of a sudden and like yesterday i was driving when my heart started beating real fast, i started trembling and felt like i was going to pass out.... i got to my boyfriends house and drank a glass of orange soda and chewed some bubble gum (he told me to do that because he knows about that since his mother is a diabetic) and felt better like 10 mins later.. (no more shaking or fast heartbeat) this is like the 2nd time this week i get this nervous type of feeling and feel better once i get something sweet. this happened like a year ago also and i felt better once my mom have me half a beer...
Could these be symptoms of low blood sugar.?.?

Answers:
Dizziness, increase heart beat, trembling and shaking are all symptoms of a hypoglycemic, Better known as a low blood sugar.
So, yes, these are the signs of a low blood sugar, and possibly type 1 diabetes. However, if you have not displayed signs of tiredness, weakness, frequent urination, frequent drinking or nausea then I doubt you have type 1 diabetes.
In future. If you are displaying the symptoms of a low blood sugar I wouldn't be chewing gum as it actually wastes more energy and sugar chewing it, making your blood sugar lower.
I would also suggest carrying around a small bag of candy or lollies with you,in casee you areexperiencingg the same symptoms again.Health Question & Answer
