How does therapy help with bulimia?!

Question: How does therapy help with bulimia.?
If I went what would happen to me.? im 16 and I have been bulimic for almost a year nowHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
Honestly.? It didn't help me.
I had anorexia and bulimia and severe depression since I was 12 (I'm 15 now), and even three times a week didn't do much long-term. I really put myself into it, and I did get better for a little bit. But now I just go from relapse to normal to relapse again, over and over. And my eating disorders seem to get worse each time.

It does help a lot of people, don't get me wrong. I've known people who are fine now after therapy. I'm just letting you know what happened to me.

Good luck :]Health Question & Answer

I have never been bulimic so I am taking a stab in the dark with this. I'd say they would first ask you what caused you to become bulimic. Then they would probably discuss other ways to solve the problem. Then you would probably be guided through ways of coping with your problems.
