Question: I have a question about a kidney infection.?

I just got out of the hospital because I had a kidney infection. It is the worst pain I have ever felt. They told me the infection had been really bad. Now I am terrified of getting another one. I am using every precaution possible. My question, has anyone ever had a kidney infection, and got it again.? or does anyone know of any super precautions I can use to keep from getting it again.?Health Question & Answer

i've had several kidney infections in a short period of time. the best thing to do is make sure you drink plenty of water and cranberry juice my doctor told me i was drinking too much soda and things with caffine in them i cut that down big time and haven't had another infection since. I hope this helps
