Question: What can I do with this pimple.?
I have a large pimple right in the middle of my chin. It's really red, and it's overall just not pretty. I tried to pop it, but it hurt too much and I didn't go through with it. What can I do to reduce it overnight.?.?Health Question & Answer

start by washing it very well, and exfoliating.. if you dont have any type of over night acne spot product. try any type of anti biotic cream like polysporin, and if you move alot during the night.. you can cover it with a bandaid.... if its close to the surface of your skin.. this should really do the trick
i've also tried toothpaste in the past where i was stuck at camp for a week. it worked somewhat, but not as good.

also remember!!! try to stop yourself from touching your face!! ever!! your hands collect dirt very quickly, and you just spread it on to your face and cause pimples. and always use a clean towel for your face.. not the same one you used for your hair or body as it might have oily residues on it!!Health Question & Answer

Put a hot towel on it to bring it to the surface. Then use q-tips to pop it. Not until it bleeds or it may scare. If you can't pop it, put salicylic acid on it to dry it up. If you don't want to pop it put hemorrhoidal cream on it to bring down the swelling. It sounds as though it's a deep one and you'll be looking at it for a few days.Health Question & Answer
If you have benzoyl peroxide, that works great. But an at-home remedy that usually works is wash your face with a simple cleanser, then dab a small amount of toothpaste on your pimple. put white toothpaste on it. it will dry it out and make it go down. i do that to my face all the time, it works great. Health Question & Answer

Put a very thin layer of toothpaste on it before you go to bed at night. This oftentimes dries the pimple up. It always works for me. Good luck!
