My sister who is 18.. shes been extremely tired.. sleeping about 16-20 hours a day.. when she wakes up, she's literally in puddles of sweat to the point where she has to change her pillow cases and clothes.. only the center of her stomach hurts, right below her breast bone in the center.She gets hot flashes all the time..I was thinking maybe her spleen is swollen..? Not really sure.. has anyone had this happen.? I kinda ruled out mono because she doesnt have a sore throat or anything.. but.. help.?!.?!Health Question & Answer

sounds like she could have hyperthyroidism.
have they checked her for it.?
check out these symptoms to see if she has anymore of them . even if she doesn't she still could have it. i'd tell her to go back to the doctor and tell them they need to do something. or take her to the ER cuz this is messed up. and it doesn't mention being dehydrated but i can tell you i was super thirsty all the time but i wasn't in bed 16-20 hrs of the day so i was able to drink lots of water but i still felt dehydrated no matter how much i drank.

She needs to be seen by a Dr. She has symptoms of something gone wrong, tired, fatigue, fever, sweating, dehydration and pain. This sounds like some sort of infection but could get worse (systemic) if she doesn't get it taken care of. They only way to know for sure what is wrong is with tests. Health Question & Answer
