I haven't had a huge appetite but I have been eating three meals with snacks everyday. Please help I'm really scared!!!!Health Question & Answer

Honey, you need to calm yourself down and wait to worry after you speak to your doctor. You sound a lot like me -- a hypochondriac. If I see a health condition on TV, I suddenly feel the symptoms. And I'm scared to death of cancer. If I feel pain anywhere on my body, I automatically think it's some kind of cancer. I recognize this problem and try my best to calm down when I start to get those feelings. It sounds like you are a healthy young woman with a lot of anxiety -- just live right, eat right, exercise, avoid unnecessary stress (like worry) and you will be just fine. It's good you're going to the doctor to check out your concerns, but until then rest easy. Health Question & Answer

Sounds like you may have kidney stones, or even a gall bladder infection. Pregnancy sometimes messes with the gall bladder, and the kidneys (hell, pregnancy usually messes with everything!). Don't automatically assume it's cancer, it could be as small as just gas. Good luck, and don't worry too much. Trust your doctors, they know what's best.Health Question & Answer

remember that health anxiety can cause people to overreact to normal, healthy sensations and it can also simulate real symptoms...especially if you know what the symptoms are and start focusing really closely on your body...another thing to remember is to never ever symptom surf!! that means, don't look up symptoms of diseases or disorders on the internet, they will only plant even more ideas in your head and will not help you feel any better!Health Question & Answer

I would get checked for appendicitis. I had the same type symptoms before mine ruptured. Back pain, abdominal pain. I would get in checked, it is VERY painful if you get to it too late.

I would GO to the doctor. Just to be safe. Health Question & Answer

Thanks to TV anytime some one has a pain they make them think they have cancer. A person needs to be aware of it but they are needlessly scaring people. You will be fine, don't let your imagination run away on you.Health Question & Answer

it is highly unlikely with the symptoms you describe, that you have cancer of any kind. it sounds to me like irritable bowel syndrome.Health Question & Answer

It is pointless to get yourself into a tizzy without any information.

MOF: It is worse than pointless...
It can be downright HARMFUL (physically as well as psychologically.)Health Question & Answer

It sounds to me like irritable bowl syndrome - I have it and that's exactly how it was for me. I never tried ice, but when I rested it got better.Health Question & Answer

None of this sounds like serious symptons being a cancer survivor myself. I'm glad your going to the doctor this week. I'm sure he will put your fears to rest. I wish you the best. Health Question & Answer

is there anyway you may be pregnant again
Health Question & Answer

not at allHealth Question & Answer

As another answerer has stated, pregnancy can mess with many things. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a more common result of recent pregnancies than many would think. Your symptoms sound very similar to that of IBS. Although you stated your bowel movements are fairly regular, you may have it more in the painful form. (Which actually may be a blessing than not knowing when bowel movements may suddenly occur.) Gall/kidney stones may be a culprit as well. Appendicitis may be a bit off since the majority of the time, that pain would be virtually unbearable. Any which way, I'm sure you can see my point that it can be so many things so I would not worry about cancer until you see your doctor. I'm quite confident he/she will end up putting your mind at ease.

Good luck and please let us know what happens at your doctor's appointment.Health Question & Answer

I am no doctor or nurse... but I had those symptoms when I had gallstones. the pain starts in the middle of the chest and radiates to the back on the right side. The attacks would come on suddenly, then sometimes end suddenly. You can also throw up. The pain is sometimes worse than labor pains. I would look it up on the internet. I got my first attack a few months after giving birth to my second child. A low fat diet didn't work for me, so I ended up getting my gallbladder out (the old fashioned major surgery).. Nowadays, the surgery is done by laser. Let me know what happens, please. Good Luck.Health Question & Answer
