No. The only "sign" I have had people tell me about is flu like symptoms. If it's been 5 weeks tell him to go get a HIV test done. HIV usually shows up 90% for the time after 4 weeks, the retest at 90 days, if that test is negative he will be fine,Health Question & Answer

I don't think so. I think it's a sign that your friend is spazzing, hopefully over nothing. He should go get a test, and another one in six months just to be sure. And while he's out he should buy a big bunch of condoms so he doesn't go through this again. Health Question & Answer
