Is warming of the feet, testicles, and upper leg a symptom of hiv?!

Question: Is warming of the feet, testicles, and upper leg a symptom of hiv.?
A male friend of mine thinks he was infected about 5 weeks ago, and he's concerned about that, I heard that hot flashes can be a common symtom of a certain infection but what about hiv.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
No. The only "sign" I have had people tell me about is flu like symptoms. If it's been 5 weeks tell him to go get a HIV test done. HIV usually shows up 90% for the time after 4 weeks, the retest at 90 days, if that test is negative he will be fine,Health Question & Answer

There are rarely any symptoms of HIV, although some people have flu-like symptoms within a few months of being infected. I would suggest that your friend get tested. People will usually test positive within 3 months of infection, but in rare cases, it can take up to 6 months for the antibodies to show up.Health Question & Answer

I don't think so. I think it's a sign that your friend is spazzing, hopefully over nothing. He should go get a test, and another one in six months just to be sure. And while he's out he should buy a big bunch of condoms so he doesn't go through this again. Health Question & Answer

Hot flashes are in no way a result of HIV. Getting diseases is a result! Your friend needs to get tested and use condoms.Health Question & Answer
