okay, this is going to be a little gross but i have to find out what this is. about a month ago i noticed a lump on my shoulder. it wasnt red or painful or anything, i just reached my hand back to scratch and there it was. well, my husband looked at it today and he said it might be an ingrown hair or something but it didnt have a head on it. well, he was able to puncture it and when he squeezed, all of this white stuff come out. it wasnt ordinary pus...it almost looked like dried skin. for example (if anyone knows what i am talking about) if you go to put an earring in your ear after not wearing earrings for a while there is this white stuff that comes out and from what i have been told its dried skin, well thats what was coming out of this lump. i looked up boils and its definately not that. doesnt match any of the descriptions. any help i would appreciate, please.
and also, i forgot to add that it isnt very big maybe the end of a pencil eraser. but there was so much of that white stuff you would think it was huge!!Health Question & Answer

This sounds very strange. You should go to your doctor and get them to check it out.
If it's the same stuff that fills the ear piercing could it be possible that there was a wound,puncture hole and it just filled up with the same stuff.?
If it doesn't hurt you are probably alright, but keep a close eye on it, I squeezed a similar sounding thing and ended up with septicaemia.
