Question: Std -cold sore/herpes transmission question.?
my boyfriend has a cold sore on his mouth. he picks at it alot. he came over and we were messing around and his fingers touched me down there and we also had sex. we did not kiss on the mouth or do anything like that.

I believe that if he'd touch the sore and then immediately touch you down there, then there might be a chance.
How long has he had this sore this time.? If he's had the sore awhile, it is less likely that the virus is actually there, since the sore is healing.
If it helps any, I can tell you that I get cold sores. My boyfriend has never had a sore that he remembers. We have kissed goodbye without even thinking about it at times when I've had a sore, and he's never gotten it like that.
