ah! i feel ya. im 21 and im a secret smoker too. and no they wont find nicotine unless they look for it. i have to good a blood test for a school physical and since im going into a medical career i was afraid theyd find out i was a smoker. ive heard to not smoke 3-5 days before the test to be safe...so do that if you ever have to get another test!Health Question & Answer
well a cbc stands for complete blood count which is not a full check up. its just checking to see how many red and white blood celss you have in your body.
if he was doing a complete check up he'd be doing way more tests.
so to answer your question no it won't show that you've been smoking. now if he did a tox screen then it would show up. and for a full check up he would be doing a chem pannel which basically checks all the chemicals in your body from hormones to enzymes and everything in between. No. A CBC only measures red blood cells and white blood cells to see if you have enough of each. It doesn't have anything to do with testing for substances in the blood like nicotine or drugs. Don't worry.Health Question & Answer
