Don't think so. MRI is short for "Magnetic Resonance Imaging" so imaging is taken by using magnets and since you're saying that your son has wires worked in his chest, I wouldn't think they'd do it in the first place...Talk with his Pediatrician and he'll introduce different options to you ..
