I've had 2 of the 3 and I'm due for the 3rd this week. As of this time there have been no deaths connected to it. There have been deaths that have occurred after people were administered the vaccine, but that doesn't mean the vaccine caused the deaths.
The vaccine is necessary if you want to protect yourself from those 4 strains of HPV. Alternatively, you could just avoid sex, but if you are a sexual person, then that's probably not on the cards.
Let's put it this way: far more people have become ill from cervical cancer than from this vaccine.
