I am writing a paper about cancer what is an example of a real life experience... ?!

Your local hospital may be able to put you in contact with people wanting to share their story. Or perhaps an organisation like The Leukemia Foundation would point you in the right direction. Just start asking in your community and I know you will find people willing to share their experiences. To truly get a real experience I feel you need to meet someone face to face. You'd also be surprised how many people you know who've had that experience but has yet to tell you about it because the need hasn't arisen. Simply ask people if they know of someone who would be willing to tell their story. Not to sure about your question. But I will say, count your blessings that you have never had cancer and hopefully you won't. Me and my son are cancer survivors but I lost my Daddy to cancer. Cancer is an ugly thing and there are so many types of it too. I have 2 people in my life right now that are fighting to get rid of the nasty disease. You might try talking with someone in one of the chatrooms such as www.mpip.org. I would not wish cancer on anyone but I wish everyone could experience the love and support of people that rally to your side. also the clarity of what is important in your life.
