a friend of mine when tested came across the result that he is affected by blood cancer, and it has affected him 30 %, how much time he has to live.?

There are different kinds of blood cancer, different stages of that cancer and different treatments. Nowaways, the diagnosis of blood cancer (leukemia) is not an immediate death sentence. I have a kind called CML (chronic myelogenous leukemia) and am on a drug called Gleevec. I'm now in remission and doing very well. ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) is a bit trickier. Depending on his age, current physical condition and a match donor, they might consider him a good candidate for bone marrow transplant.
Like I said, there are different kinds of blood cancer, some treatable in different ways so before you panic, find out exactly what kind your friend has and his oncologist will go over the options with him. The internet is a good source of information but beware of "Dr Google" (or, I guess I should say "Dr. Yahoo" on this site) because some sources out there either aren't correct or can put you in a tailspin when there's not really a reason to be. That's not good. My golden retriever had Hemangiosarcoma, and died 3 weeks after his first symptom (swollen lymph node). It's probably different for humans, but it was very quick for him.Health Question & Answer
