i've got scoliosis and worried if anyone Else has and how do you cope with it, ive been having operations because of my spine since i was 18 months old, now im 14 and a half, i want to know what you to cope with it and what has it done for you .?

Hmmm, by the time my back was bothering me, I was married. I had a lot of pain and back rubs, kind of pushing my spine upward to decompress it, were great. I drove with a pillow that I could lean back on. Basically, though, I had to slow down and quit playing volleyball and changing how I played with my kids.
For you, the advice may be generally the same. Slow down in some activities, stop doing others, back rubs and heating pads are good. Pain management (pain drugs from a doctor) can also help.
What has it done for me.? If nothing else, I have more compassion for others. I see the little old man walking down the street, bent over, and I can relate somewhat. I know how good I have it compared to other people I saw in a pain management doctor's waiting room. I'll never complain again.Health Question & Answer
