You may be highly sensitive to the minute amount of mercury found in tuna. Mercury is found in all fish, but in a 'safe' quantity. However, if you consume a lot of tuna your mercury levels could be higher and, thus, making you sick. Doctors even suggest that, due to the mercury levels found in fish, small children not ingest tuna or any other fish more than once a week.

Maybe it's the oil. Try the tuna or albacore that is packed in water instead, it is lighter on the stomach.Health Question & Answer
