I would think that any OTC medication should be fine. Of course avoid anything that has alcohol in it, such as Niquil. also, some people with pancreatitis have diabetes mellitus, you should avoid medications that say people with diabetes should not consume. There is never any shame in calling a primary care physician and asking these questions. The majority of people on Yahoo answers have no medical education, and don't have a clue, with the exception of their own personal expertise, which again, is not medical education. I have also found that most pharmacists don't know each individual customers health history, it is best to discuss with primary care physician or treating physician which meds would be best for this person to avoid.Health Question & Answer
