it is always caused by viruses, and the best way to get it is to inhale infectious droplets from the cough or sneeze of an infected person.

If her bronchitis is caused by a bacteria or virus, YES it is most likely contagious. But just because she coughed in your face does not mean you have it. If you start showing symptoms you should definately see your doctor. Health Question & Answer
Yes, it is contagious but, only for the few days. The cough that she has will linger for about a month though! If she had t for more than 3-4 days, it is no longer contagious. . .
