I got a flu shot.....?!
Question: I got a flu shot......?
I'm ten weeks pregnant and I got a flu shot last wed. I've been really sick ever since. I still have morning sickness, my body hurts, my stomach is killing me, and I can't eat. I don't have a fever. All I want to do is sleep. Is this from the flu shot or is this just part of being pregnant.?.?Health Question & Answer

Sorry to read about your health problems. Especially
since you're pregnant. But, for future reference, let me
give a you a few words of warning about the notorious
"flu shot."
Your body is like a shield of armor; it's got a built-in
immune system, which allows it to virtually heal itself.
(Scrape, cuts, bruises, the common cold, the flu, and
etc.)
However, when you get a flu shot, your body's immune
system is invaded--not just by the needle, but also by
the stuff that's injected. No two people have the exact
same reaction to it; and many people are actually
allergic to it. (Just as many people are allergic to the
age-old medicine known as Penicillin.)
So, the moral of the story is: if you're in reasonably
good health, avoid flu shots, at all costs. Or, to coin
a common phrase: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Best of health & good luck with your upcoming little
