Question: I've been sitting still & relaxing and my pulse is just above 115 bpm...is that normal.?
Answers:
Are you sure you are counting it correctly.? Its quite high for a resting position. Mine could be as low as mid fifties or sixties. On the other hand you may be using a blood pressure monitor and it would count it accurately. I would talk to the doc and see what he has to say. Rest for at least ten fifteen minutes.......just relax, don't do anything and then check it again. It dropped 30 beats in a few minutes so it depends on how long you put your feet up for.Health Question & Answer
That is not normal. Although Donna before me has raised some valid points the chances are that you probably have inappropriate sinus tachycardia.
See a cardiologist or better still a cardiac electrophysiologist.
