Question: Referred to a neurologist for ongoing headaches.?
what can i expect when i go to a neurologist for headaches.? i was reared in a car accident back in Jan and headaches r everyday and getting worse and had an MRI done but i want to know how will i be examined.? oh on the MRI they found something on my the back of my head.Health Question & Answer


Answers:
They may give you a CAT scan. You will be given ear plugs. You then lie on a sort of bed like thing. Then it automatically puts you into a sort of tunnel like machine (your feet and legs will stick out). You will then have your head x-rayed. The machine will make some noise, hence the ear plugs. Plus you can take in a portable CD player or something to help drown out the noise. After 10 minutes or so, you will come back out.Health Question & Answer
