Question: Herpes lasting 7 months.?
Ok, so i still have my cold sore on the corner of my mouth now, its been about 7 months, anyone knowing whats wrong.?and if its normal for it to last this long.?and how should i treat this and make it go away for now.? It keeps on scabbing up, (scabs are yellow) then eventually within about a week, the scab falls off, but the lessions under the scabs are red, and still red, then it scabs up again and again.Health Question & Answer

This is not a herpes sore.
Herpes cannot last that long - unless you have FARRRR advanced AIDS, in the compete abscence of viral treatment. I assume if this were the case you would have mentioned it.
you've been misdiagnosed.
You most likely have perleche - very easy to treat. But you need a competent doctor to examine you and review your history. Don't go searching the web for "perleche" and try to treat yourself -- after 7 months of suffering, it's time you get a real diagnosis and the correct treatment.
If you've already seen a doctor, then get a new doctor or a second opinion. Any family doctor should be able to treat you. Or you might want to look in the phone book or call your local hospital for the names of any infectious disease specialists in your area that you can see.
