Question: Should I try to run a marathon with fibromyalgia and a chronic lung condition.? .?
I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. After three visits, the doc told me I should be doing extreme exercise such as running a marathon or doing bicycle races. I also have a lung condition that my other doc says will be emphysema in a short period of time. The FM doc knows this. Am I the only one that thinks it might be a bit unsafe for me to attempt something that extreme.? Health Question & Answer

if this is true-try it--go straight to a lawyer-and sue--you have a great case-
standard is light to moderate exercise--taking caution NOT to overdo it....
training for short races maybe a possibility--the only reason to do a marathonis to raise awarenss and for emotional strength--physically it will do more harm
that doc is not an FM doc--it sounds like hes a doc that thinks fm is a state of mind--not a physical problem....

Morning before taking any thing drink warm water 4-6 glass as per body requirement.
Keep your stomach half filled
Keep your weigh as per you height
Maintain hemoglobin level as your doctor says
Take more fruits & vegetables
Use brown breads or whole grains products
Minimize dairy product
Do exercise or walking 30-60 minutes
Do yoga, Pranayam in place of exercise if possible
