Actually, she might have a point. A baby's skull is made up of plates of bone that are flexible to allow movement down the birth canal. Babies born by cesarean do have less movement in the plates at birth.

During childhood growth the skull hardens and the sutures between the bony plates close. A natural childbirth might leave you with more tendency to asymmetry though.Health Question & Answer

No that's rubbish.
The ears might not be in alignment because of the position that the baby lies down in most when very small. Babies heads can flatten a bit on one side (it may not be very noticeable) and the ears will change position when looking face on accordingly. It's got more to do with head shape than anything else.
My second daughter (a c section birth) has one ear higher than the other and her head flattened on one side at the back. She looks completely normal now at 4 years old, but one of her ears is definitely still higher than the other. I had this explained to me by a paediatrician too. It can also explain why some people can appear to have one eye bigger than the other, or may have slightly asymmetrical or twisted faces.
Edit: When a baby comes through the birth canal and is born naturally, their heads can be cone shaped, but as the head is soft this changes when the baby is in the outside environment and the biggest effect on head shape becomes prolonged contact with a surface.Health Question & Answer

Many portrait artists in the middle ages used to go to a lot of trouble to find a model whose ears were level. It is very rare for ears to be level - ask someone who pierces ears - the holes can't be the same on both ears, or the earrrings would hang at different levels and look lopsided.Health Question & Answer

We are never completely 'bilaterally symmetrical' this means one side is NEVER exactly the same as the other. Your optician was both foolish and callous a) to draw attention to something so trivial b) to wind you up with that rubbish and incorrect explanation. He has been very unprofessional.Health Question & Answer

It's nothing to do with how you delivered. It's just natural variation - like most people have one foot slightly bigger or smaller than the other.Health Question & Answer

Nothing to do with how you are delivered at all, I don't think she really knew her stuff, lol! We are, essentially, two halves, so it is only natural to have differences on each side. Health Question & Answer

I would find another optician - one who knows each side of our body is different to the other.Health Question & Answer

Im sure it just genetics, its hard to se how giving birth makes one ear stick up higher than the other permanentlyHealth Question & Answer

Wind-up.

Everybody has one ear higher than the other, in varying degrees. Our bodies are not Asymmetrical.

You have more hair on one side of your head also. I don't think it has anything to do with the way you were born. Health Question & Answer
