Over indulgance on food?!
Question: Over indulgance on food.?
Sometimes I over indulge on certain food (chocolate). I'm not overweight because I exercise 4 times a week for about 1 hour each time.
My question is whether I have a risk of getting Diabetes because of this.?
I have a family history of Diabetes so this is why I ask.

If you should ever see your glucose numbers rising, the prevailing number now is 100 mg/dl or less, then it's more important to watch this even more carefully, the sooner you catch this the easier it is to manage and control.

Eat the type of chocolate that is actually good for you (Dark Chocolate). Eat it in moderation. It is available in sugar free, if you want to save calories. Diabetics can actually have sugar. It's the Carbohydrates they need to watch. Since sugar is high carbohydrates they limit sugar. If a diabetic eats too much bread, and potatoes they would have the same problem eating sugar would cause. Find ways to enjoy chocolate and make it last longer (let it melt in your mouth).
