Question: Have you ever had these symptoms.?
If you know what could be causing the following symptoms, could you please tell me.? It started yesterday and is worse today. My feet, ankles, and calves are quite swollen. I am having twinges of pain and sometimes an achey feeling in my left foot. I've never had this before and cannot imagine what could be causing it. Any ideas are welcome.Health Question & Answer

Differential Diagnosis includes: Deep venous thrombosis(unlikely to cause both legs to swell up at the same time, but still possible), Venous insufficiency (varicose veins and such would be seen), Medication effect(calcium channel blockers like Verapamil or Cardizem can cause this), Fluid retention; due to Heart Failure(shortness of breath) or excess salt intake and being essentially "bloated", lastly would be a cellulitis(infection would cause redness, pain, swelling and fever).
