Question: What am I missing for Social Security Disability.? I have Scleroderma and Fibromyalgia..?
I am in a lot of pain all the time. They denied my case and said they didn't have any evidence of the severity. Are there any Social Security workers or SSA attorneys out there.? Or anyone have the same problem.?Health Question & Answer

I am currently going through the process of disability , the biggest thing you need is doctors reports ..Just saying you have pain is not enough ..All the doctors I have seen agree I am disabled ..Including the doctors social security sent me , also agree I am disabled ..Yet I have been denied twice ..
Get doctors to see you ad those records , and keep appealing ..Always file every appeal ..And you will win ..

well it seems like unless you know exactly how to word things you need a lawyer to get it.
my mom just applied and hasn't heard anything yet. she has major back issues and she can't stand for long and can't sit for long. she's a nurse of 40 years and had a total knee replacement 2 years ago and she just is in pain all the time. luckily she has a friend that works in social services and helps people fill out the paper work.
you really need to tell any details as to how much it hurts and how you are unable to do required activities of your work. if you can't give good enough evidence that you are unable to work then you will be denied.
you need to explain how the pain affects your job duties.
and they will try to trip you up by asking hte same question in different words. so you need to recognize when these questions are being asked and just repeat the same exact thing you said in the previous question word for word. Health Question & Answer

I have heard that you have to keep applying.

I love how they deny people that have real health issues and give SS to people who don't deserve it. I know someone who is disgustingly, morbidly obese and she gets a SS check and food stamps and an electric wheelchair and a rent free apartment and all of her utilities paid. All for being fat.Health Question & Answer
