Please help with asthma?!

Question: Please help with asthma.?
I've had asthma for 20 years (since I was born) but it hasn't been that bad until a couple years ago. Normally, if I can't breathe I use my inhaler and it helps. But tonight I've had trouble breathing for about an hour (out of breath feeling when I lay down, hard to breathe feeling when I sit or stand) and we just moved so the inhaler is packed away somewhere. I'm the only one home, and I don't really have the strength to go downstairs and out to the garage where all the boxes are to search for it. Is there anything I can make from the kitchen that might help me feel better.? (drink warm milk or water, or something.?) Anything would be appreciated.Health Question & Answer

I would try hard to find your rescue inhaler-if you can't, maybe a warm shower with the vapor would help-sometimes that helps me. If you are coughing-you are not in good control of your asthma and need to go to the doctor.
The bloody nose is probably not related-maybe a broken tiny blood vessel from blowing your nose.Health Question & Answer

Your rescue inhaler is called a rescue inhaler for a reason. If you use it regularly, it is hard to believe that you packed it instead of carrying it with you. After all, you can't predict when you are going to be short of breath. That being said, fix yourself a strong cup of coffee. Caffeine metabolizes into a bronchial dilating medication. Unfortunately, it takes awhile for this to kick in. If you get really bad, call someone to take you to an emergency clinic. Health Question & Answer
