You might try a natural way.

Acne is a bacteria that needs to be killed. It is going to be present in the teenage years. But you can make it lessen.

Tea Tree Oil will kill out the bacteria or weaken it enough not to bother you. Apply it to the effected areas with a q-tip or cotton ball after you have washed your face.

You can get a good multi-vitamin with vitamin a,c,e,d and zinc.. this should help tons! Eating carrots also helps.. there is beta-carotene (Vitamin A) in them which helps prevent acne and repair the skin. Take zinc, zinc is a antibacterial agent. Make sure to dink plenty of water and get good rest at night.

also, change/wash your pillow case every other day

There are ways to put moisture back into your skin, such as: drinking lots of water, making sure you are eating enough fat/omega-3 oils. Lotions with mineral oil can dry out the skin, use one with out it! Emu Oil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_oil) contains vitamin A and E, Sapogens ( makes skin softer), and Oleic acid (a skin cell regenerator anti-wrinkel agent) - walgreens sells emu oil.. i would think walmart would as well.

Good Luck!Health Question & Answer

Bacteria that causes acne are called P. acnes (Polymorphic acnes). The bacteria metabolizes your natural skin oils. Less oils ou have, the less acne. If you use topical ointments, these can kill normal flora (normal bacteria) on your skin. If there isn't a balance in your normal flora, more acne can develop; this is call opportunistic. Use you acne producst, but I'd follow up with a non alcohol base moisturizer.Health Question & Answer

make sure to use a moisturizer that is oil-free b/c it will then clog your pores and then get more pimples. i work at derm's office and i know there are products out there that you can buy, there is something called skinceuticals (it's expensive though) and you put it on before your make up. always put the moisturizer on before your make-up, but i know wal mart has facial moisturzers that you can use and their like 6 bucks or something. good luckHealth Question & Answer

Try to cleanse and moisturize with something very gentle, our derm office recommends Cetaphil lotion and Cetaphil liquid wash. also, use the acne products every other day and see if that helps.Health Question & Answer
