Honestly, I hate the idea of a person smoking a cigarette in a public place near other people.

I'm a non-smoker and this is one of my pet peeves. As if living in a household full of smokers and drinkers was not enough, I was a part of a work team that was half smokers several years back. I developed acute bronchitis from my exposure and was off work for three days or so. Dipping tobacco is a nasty habit too but @least the user can nail their own coffin more.Health Question & Answer
I hate the idea of someone ---who is free to walk away from smoking---messing with smokers in public. You don't suffer from smoking outside. You don't. But people like you want to legislate freedoms away. You're the same type that aims to rid us of the Bill of Rights, because people might say something that hurts your feelings.
