Okay, gonna sound a little crazy, but if you're desperate, buy some yogurt and let it sit overnight, then apply it to your face (probably not effective if you eat the yogurt). You see, yogurt contains "good" bacteria, which grow and multiply rapidly at warmer temperatures, proven to work for dandruff too! The "good" bacteria are on your side! Hope that helps you!Health Question & Answer

Anything that dries up acne (alcohol, toothpaste, etc) also will dry the skin out badly which tends to make acne worse long term.

Try not to use products that contain alcohol.

Find a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide product (nothing more than 2.5% as it will dry too much), and rub a generous amount on acne area morning and night. Do this even when it isn't flaring up if you get it frequently and it will prevent alot of it.

I got this idea from www.acne.org, but it has really helped. Check out that site for alot of product reviews and the forums also have alot of helpful info. I'm not trying to advertise for them, but it really is a helpful site.Health Question & Answer

1. Everyone's skin is different.
2. I use toothpaste sometimes on pimples. it dries them out.
3. Rubbing alcohol (unless you have dry skin)
4. Noxema in the tub. Origional Kind.

I dont have horrible Acne, but I HATE IT. So I use every possible way to prevent and/or treat it.

Be careful using these products together because it may dry your skin out. You should only use a scrub every week or so. Minumum of 4 days.

hope i helped.Health Question & Answer
