Are my symptoms, symptoms of diabetes?!

Question: Are my symptoms, symptoms of diabetes.?
Im a 15 year old boy.

After I do hard exercise like running a mile I sometimes see sparkling light or a few secs and kind of blurr white colour.

I get a little dizzy and weak if I miss breakfast. Sometimes if I miss lunch, but usually not if I miss dinner.

If I sit down or lie down for a long time and stand up, I feel kind of dizzy or a few seconds and I see white blur for a few seconds. But this doesn't happen when I wake up after sleeping.

I am not fat. I am 5'7 and about 118 pounds. I can run 1 mile in 15:34. Which is fourth place in my PE class.

I hope these are not signs of diabetes. I have to admit I do eat quite a bit of sugars and salted food.

Thank you.

Not too sure you could just be pushing yourself too hard. Do you get really thirsty and seem to not go to the bathroom at all even though you had like gallons of water or juice.?

or do you go to the bathroom too much.?

do ur feet swell.?

go to ur dr and get a simple blood test. do not eat or drink at least 8 hours i think before the test. usually a fasting test.

or u could just be someone who has to eat breakfast. usually u have to eat certain times a day in order to avoid dizziness ectera.Health Question & Answer

These symptoms don't sound like typical diabetes. They could however be symptoms of low-blood sugar which isn't uncommon or life-threatening.

You do need to see a doctor. Keep a symptom log for a week or two and bring that along to the visit.

Wishing you the best of luck,

You really ought to have a physical by your doctor to see if there is a problem. Excessive thirst is a sign of diabetes.Health Question & Answer

This sounds to me more like Vasovagal Syncope, although I am not a doctor, I was misdiagnosed with this. Just make sure you drink plenty of water, you might want to check with your doctor to see what this is. Although even if you do have Vasovagal Syncope the only thing they can do is tell you to drink water, eat salts, make sure you don't get up too fast, and if you feel like you will pass out to lay down.

They do not seem to be signs of diabetes, and I hope that you will find out what is causing this. :)

Good Luck & God Bless!
